Record January for Express Entry!

Another express entry draw occurred today, January 30, 2019.   The latest draw brings the number of invitations issued in January to 11,150.

The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was 438, which is 5 points less than the previous draw on January 23, 2019.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) assigns points for various criteria used to assess your skills, education, language ability, work experience, among other factors.

If your points are below 438 you may qualify for Express Entry using a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) via one of Canada’s Provinces or Territories.  If your PNP Application is successful, you will receive an additional 600 points which will ensure your success in being selected for Express Entry.

The Express Entry program was designed to manage the pool of candidates for the Federal High Skilled economic class categories:

  1. Federal Skilled Worker Class;
  2. Federal Skilled Trades Class;
  3. Canadian Experience Class.
