Another Express Entry Draw Today! Wednesday, December 19, 2018
On December 19, 2018, Canada invited 3,900 more invitations to apply for Canadian Permanent residence to Express Entry candidates. The lowest score was 439, which is the lowest minimum score of 2018.
Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship Canada provides the opportunity for eligible candidates to enter into a pool for Canada’s three federal High Skilled economic immigration programs – Federal Skilled Worker Class, federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class.
A Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is used to calculate points for factors such as arranged employment, age, intended destination in Canada, a nomination through the Provincial Nominee Program, as well as other factors.
This is the first time in 2018 that the minimum score has dropped below 440. IRCC used a tie-break rule in the December 19, 2018 draw. This means that all candidates with a CRS score at or above 439 who entered the pool before February 6, 2018 at 19:31:37 UTC were invited to apply.
