Parents and Grandparents Program coming in January 2019!
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has announced that they will be reopening the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) in the month of January 2019.
The PGP allows Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents over the age of 18 to sponsor their parents abd/or grandparents to Canada for permanent residents.
Previously, the PGP was subject to a randomized selection process which was seen as unfair for those who have been waiting for years to sponsor their family members.
IRCC has announced that they are moving away from the randomized selection process to a first-in approach.
If you would like to sponsor your parent(s) or grandparents(s) contact us today so that we can get your information into the pool for selection as soon as the program re-opens.
