Canada invites another 3,500 people to apply for Express Entry Permanent Residency in Canada

So far in 2019, Canada has invited more than 20,000 people to apply for permanent residency in Canada via the Express Entry stream.  The March 20th draw saw another 3,500 issued invitations to apply.

The minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score was 452, which was 2 points less than the previous draw.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) assigns points for various criteria used to assess your skills, education, language ability, work experience, among other factors.

If your points are below 452 you may qualify for Express Entry using a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) via one of Canada’s Provinces or Territories.  If your PNP Application is successful, you will receive an additional 600 points which will ensure your success in being selected for Express Entry.

The Express Entry program was designed to manage the pool of candidates for the Federal High Skilled economic class categories:

  1. Federal Skilled Worker Class;
  2. Federal Skilled Trades Class;
  3. Canadian Experience Class.
